JUIT Organize Trek With NCC
2 min readSolan, April 17 – Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, organized trekking on April 16, 2023 with NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets and CTO Dr. Amit Kumar Jakhar. It was an exciting and rewarding experience. NCC cadets are trained to be disciplined, physically fit, and mentally strong, and trekking with them can be a great way to challenge yourself and learn from their expertise.
Before you embark on a trek make you sure you are physically prepared for the trek and must carry sufficient water and food with you. Therefore, cadets collected breakfast, lunch, water bottles and fruits from the mess Annapurna. As, trekking is a strenuous activity, and it is important to be in good physical condition to avoid injuries or other health issues so also need to carry a first-aid kit. You should also be prepared for the weather and terrain conditions of the trek as well.
Once you are prepared, you can go for a trekking adventure. JUIT NCC cadets have a lot of experience and knowledge about trekking because this activity is frequently organized. It also helps to form new friendships while enjoying the great outdoors. You can have photography of flora and fauna and can interact with the local people.
During the trek, make sure to follow the rules and regulations such as carrying only essential gear, staying on the designated trail, and avoiding certain areas. Following their guidance will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable trek.
Overall, trekking can be a great experience that will challenge you both physically and mentally, while also allowing you to learn from experienced and disciplined individuals.
