JUIT: One Day Workshop on Practices of Engineering Techniques organized

Dr. Hemant Sood, Associate Professor (BT &BI) organized a “One Day Workshop on Practices of Engineering Techniques” for Students of GPW, Kandaghat on 17th March 2023 along with her committee members Dr. Ekta, Assistant Professor, Senior Grade(CSE), Dr. Harsh Sohal, Associate Professor(ECE) and Dr. Saurav Kumar, Assistant Professor, Senior Grade( CE). Under the signed MoU with Government Polytechnic for Women(GPW), Kandaghat the students of CSE and ECE (~64 no.) attended the workshop and learned different engineering techniques of Computer sciences and engineering, Electronic& Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering via lab demonstrations. On the basis of feedback submitted by students, demonstrations of advance Computational tools in the CSE& IT Lab, Robotic and layouts of electronic circuits in the ECE Lab, and Geotech and Hydraulics Labs of CE lab was of highly appreciated. Faculties from GPW, Ms. Swati and Mr. Hitesh, and Lab attendant Mr. Chain Singh have accompanied the students and provided all necessary support. Dr. Hemant Sood extended her acknowledgments to the JUIT administration, Principal GPW, Kandaghat, Faculties, and students of MSc Biotechnology (Parul and Yatsi) for the smooth conduct of the workshop.
