JUIT : International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP 2023) Marks a Milestone in Academic Discourse

The Seventh International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP), a prestigious biennial event initiated by Jaypee University of Information Technology in 2011, unfolded its virtual realms from 22nd to 24th November 2023. Under the aegis of Jaypee Group and IEEE sponsorship, ICIIP has emerged as a pivotal platform for the global computer science community, fostering the exchange of insights, research findings, and ideas in Image Processing and allied fields.
The inaugural day witnessed a grand commencement at Jaypee University of Information Technology. Mr. Prabodh Saxena, Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh, along with Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma and Major General Rakesh Bassi, graced the occasion, inaugurating the conference. The opening ceremony was complemented by illuminating keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, including Prof. S K Barai, Prof. (Dr.) Xin-She Yang, Dr. S.N. Omkar, Dr. Narendra Londhe, Prof. (Dr.) ANKIT AGRAWAL, Prof. ANGARAI GANESAN RAMAKRISHNAM, and Prof. GAURAV SHARMA.
Over the course of three days, a total of 182 sessions unfolded, featuring selected research papers and providing a platform for researchers to present innovative ideas and engage in constructive discussions. The conference’s seven technical tracks, spanning Medical Image Data Analytics to Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, served as pillars for diverse discussions and presentations.
Each session was expertly chaired by faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Dr. Tirath Raj, Dr. Anita, Dr. Yugal Kumar, Dr. Hari Singh, and several other esteemed scholars, ensuring a seamless flow of sessions and fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The conference’s overarching objective—to bring together researchers from academic institutions and R&D research labs—was resoundingly met. As participants immersed themselves in various tracks, exchanging views and ideas, ICIIP 2023 successfully facilitated meaningful discussions in the ever-evolving landscape of current research.
