JUIT Hosts Workshop on Biotechnology and Chemistry Innovations

Waknaghat, September 18: The Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, organized a one-day workshop on “Advances in Biotechnology and Chemistry Innovations”. The workshop saw the participation of 45 students from Rajiv Gandhi Government Degree College, Chaura Maidan, Shimla.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Jata Shankar, Head of the Department, and coordinated by Prof. Poonam Sharma, Prof. Hemant Sood, and Dr. Ashok Kumar. The sessions highlighted recent advancements and innovative approaches in biotechnology and chemistry, providing participants with valuable exposure to cutting-edge research and practical insights.

This workshop also marked a key training activity under the MoU signed between JUIT Waknaghat and Rajiv Gandhi Government Degree College, Chaura Maidan, strengthening academic collaboration and fostering knowledge-sharing between the two institutions.
