JUIT Hosts Hands-On 3D Printing Workshop for Lab Staff

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (TIEDC) and the IEEE JUIT Student Branch, organized a two-day hands-on workshop on 3D Printing Technology. The event took place on June 20-21, 2024, in ECL8 at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat. Dr. Vikas Baghel, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, led the workshop as the resource person.

The primary aim of the workshop was to raise awareness among staff about the concept and importance of 3D printing technology. It also aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to generate innovative ideas using 3D printing techniques. By providing hands-on experience, the workshop highlighted how 3D technology can transform the creation of three-dimensional objects from digital models, fostering creativity and innovation among the staff.
