JUIT Hosts Grand Finale of “Innovation in Motion” Workshop

Solan, April 06 : Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) reached new heights of innovation as it wrapped up its highly anticipated workshop, “Innovation in Motion: Robotic Arm Technology,” with a spectacular valedictory session and prize distribution ceremony on March 20th, 2024.

The Enkindle club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology (CSE/IT) at JUIT orchestrated this three-day workshop, which culminated in an inspiring display of talent, creativity, and technological prowess.

The valedictory session was a grand affair, marked by a delightful high tea session and the distribution of prizes to the winners of the Ideathon competition and outstanding implementations. Distinguished faculty members Dr. Aman Sharma and Dr. Diksha Hooda were felicitated with mementos for their invaluable contributions to the success of the workshop.

Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Sharma, along with esteemed dignitaries including Dean Academics and Research Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Kumar Gupta, Associate Dean Innovation Prof. (Dr.) Shruti Jain, and Head of Department CSE/IT Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar Sehgal, graced the occasion with their presence and presented the awards.

The Vice Chancellor seized the moment to inspire and motivate the students by sharing a captivating keynote video from the CEO of Nvidia, highlighting groundbreaking technological advancements showcased at the Global Technology Conference (GTC) 2024. The message encouraged students to strive for excellence in their chosen fields, setting the stage for future innovation.

Throughout the workshop, students exhibited remarkable enthusiasm and ingenuity, actively participating and presenting their innovative ideas. Their dedication was duly recognized and rewarded during the prize distribution ceremony, underscoring JUIT’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation.

The event also paid tribute to the tireless efforts of Enkindle student club coordinators, Naman Pratap Singh and Shruti Kadiyan, as well as Lab coordinators Mr. Pramod Singh (CSE/IT) and Dr. Ajay Kumar (ECE), whose contributions were instrumental in orchestrating the success of the workshop.

Overall, the “Innovation in Motion” workshop stands as a testament to JUIT’s unwavering dedication to providing a platform for learning, creativity, and skill development, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in technology education.
