JUIT Alumni Reconnect in Grand Celebration, Fostering Bonds and Memories

Solan, Dec 11 : The Jaypee University Of Information Technology (JUIT) witnessed a joyous reunion as approximately 50 alumni, accompanied by their families, gathered for the Alumni Meet organized by the JUIT Alumni Cell on December 9th. The event was marked by enthusiasm and camaraderie, creating an atmosphere of shared memories and new connections.
The distinguished guests for the evening included Ankit Aggarwal, Founder & CEO of Unstop, and Suhail Sharma, an esteemed IPS officer. The proceedings began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Registrar Major General Rakesh Bassi, Dean of Academics Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, and Dr. Saurabh Bansal.
The initial phase of the event featured insightful speeches from the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, setting the stage for an engaging interaction between the alumni and the university’s faculty and staff. In recognition of their alma mater, the alumni were presented with tokens of appreciation in the form of mementos and JUIT T-shirts. The entire session was skillfully hosted by Dr. Tanu Sharma, creating an inclusive and warm environment.
The festivities continued with a lavish lunch, providing a platform for the alumni to network and reminisce about their shared experiences. As the day progressed, an entertaining cultural and DJ night, orchestrated by the JUIT Youth Club (JYC) team, unfolded in the evening. The event not only fostered joy but also provided a moment for reflection on the growth and evolution of the university.

The seamless coordination by the JUIT Alumni Cell team, led by faculty coordinators Dr. Saurabh Bansal, Dr. Tanu Sharma, Dr. Nishant Jain, and Dr. Surjit Kumar Hazra, ensured the smooth execution of the event, making it a memorable gathering for all participants.
