Jubbal-Nawar-Kotkhai to Emerge as a Sports Powerhouse: Education Minister Rohit Thakur

Shimla, June 2: Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that Jubbal-Nawar-Kotkhai is poised to become a leading region in the field of sports in the near future. He made the statement while inspecting the Thakur Ram Lal Government Senior Secondary School Girls’ Sports Hostel in Jubbal. The hostel, established in 1987, now offers training in volleyball, kabaddi, and badminton with new facilities and 55 training seats. A new hostel building has also been constructed at a cost of ₹1 crore. Minister Thakur distributed sports kits to trainees and inaugurated a pedestrian path worth ₹29 lakh from the school to Jubbal Bus Stand.
