Jairam Thakur Thanks Centre for Approval of Jalori Tunnel Alignment

Shimla: Former Chief Minister and Opposition Leader Jairam Thakur welcomed the approval of the alignment for the Jalori Tunnel by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. In a statement, Thakur expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and BJP President J.P. Nadda for prioritizing the development needs of Himachal Pradesh.

Thakur highlighted that under PM Modi’s leadership, the central government is fulfilling its commitments to the state, with the Jalori Tunnel being a significant milestone. The announcement of the tunnel by Nitin Gadkari reflects the BJP’s commitment to timely execution of its promises, he added.
