Jairam Thakur Slams Sukhu Govt Over ‘Samosa Scandal’ FIR

Shimla, Feb 22, 2025: Former CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur criticized the Sukhu government for misusing resources on investigating a “Samosa Scandal” leak while crime, drug abuse, and illegal mining are rampant in the state.

He accused the government of attacking media freedom, filing over two dozen FIRs against journalists and citizens, and ignoring real issues like rising murders and drug-related deaths. Thakur demanded Rahul Gandhi’s response on Congress’ violation of fundamental rights and warned against any attempt to impose an “undeclared emergency” in Himachal.
