Mandi, September 13: Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur accused the Himachal government of insensitivity during the ongoing natural calamity. He said while Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited affected areas and sanctioned ₹1500 crore relief, and seven Union Ministers came to the state, not a single minister from Himachal was present on the ground. Thakur alleged that CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu prioritizes party politics over people’s suffering, often leaving for Delhi or Bihar during crises. He also distributed relief material in Darang constituency and assured victims of full support from BJP.
