Jairam Thakur Questions Sukhu Government’s Silence on Pending Exam Results

1 min read

Shimla:Opposition leader Jairam Thakur has criticized the Sukhu government for its silence on the issue of pending exam results, accusing it of failing to provide jobs to the youth. In a statement issued from Shimla, Thakur highlighted that despite over a year and a half passing, the government has not announced the results of previously held examinations. He alleged that while the government is quick to adjust its favorites in new recruitments, it remains indifferent to the employment needs of the general youth. Thakur demanded that the government show the same urgency in releasing pending results as it does in adjusting its allies.

Thakur pointed out the plight of young people protesting on the streets due to the government’s delays and broken promises. He emphasized that the government has no valid reason to further postpone the announcement of competitive exam results and called for immediate action to release the final results.

Thakur also raised concerns about the recent cancellation of the appointment notification for veterinary pharmacists. Questioning the government’s decision, he asked why the appointment letters, issued after a year-long wait, were retracted within 24 hours. Thakur demanded transparency from the government and an explanation for the abrupt cancellation, which has further frustrated the affected candidates.
