Jairam Thakur Demands Special Relief Package for Disaster Victims

Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur has criticized the state government for failing to announce a special relief package even after 24 days of the disaster. He urged the Chief Minister to provide immediate financial aid and speed up road restoration, especially with the apple season underway. Thakur highlighted the slow pace of relief work, power outages, and temporary restoration of water and road services. He also called for early preparation of DPRs for damaged projects under PWD and Jal Shakti departments for central assistance.
