Jairam Thakur Demands Probe into Assembly Recruitment Allegations

He emphasized that candidates who participated in the process have raised concerns over fairness, making an impartial investigation necessary.
Thakur pointed out that social media is flooded with accusations and questions regarding the recruitment, with many alleging favoritism and manipulation. He stated that the evidence presented by candidates indicates major discrepancies, warranting a thorough probe.
He also criticized the ruling Congress for failing to fulfill its election promises, including providing one lakh jobs annually. He accused the government of eliminating over two lakh posts and dismantling the state’s recruitment commission, leaving youth in distress. Thakur warned that merely giving speeches won’t work and urged the government to order a fair and transparent investigation into the recruitment process.
