Solan, November 5 — Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur has expressed concern over reported delays in budget allocation for judicial functioning in Himachal Pradesh, alleging that court operations are being adversely affected. He termed the situation “unfortunate” and urged the government to take the matter seriously.

He further questioned the state government’s claims regarding the JICA-assisted health infrastructure project, demanding a white paper on the Centre’s financial contribution. Thakur reiterated that the Centre is bearing a major share and accused the state of misleading citizens.

Referring to a viral video from the Bharmour PWD office, Thakur alleged political interference in the tendering process and claimed that governance has deteriorated under the present administration.
