Thakur condemned the Chief Minister’s dismissive response to the issue, labeling it irresponsible and unfortunate. He also accused the government of conspiring to close the state’s first Forestry and Horticulture College, which was established by the previous administration with a budget of ₹240 crore. Thakur further questioned the government’s decision to delay the salaries of ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries (CPS) instead of removing the CPS, which he described as an unconstitutional appointment.
Additionally, Thakur demanded an apology from the Speaker for his controversial remarks about “beheading” six MLAs and targeting others. He expressed concern over the current state of governance in the state, claiming that the government is creating an atmosphere of anarchy and that all sections of society are disillusioned.
