Jairam Thakur Criticizes Congress on ‘Manure vs Compost’ Promise

Shimla, November 6, 2024: Former Himachal Pradesh CM and Leader of Opposition, Jairam Thakur, accused the Congress government of misleading farmers by shifting its “manure purchase” guarantee to compost, questioning the government’s understanding of the difference. Thakur also met protesting vocational trainers at Chaura Maidan, promising to raise their issues with the government. He urged the government to develop policies for the fair treatment of outsourced and temporary employees.
