Jabna Chauhan Joins Congress Party

Shimla, January 8: Jabna Chauhan, the youngest and prominent former head of Gram Panchayat Tharjun in the Siraj Assembly constituency, today joined the Congress Party. She enrolled as a member at the Pradesh Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, in the presence of the Pradesh Congress President. Senior Congress leader Pratibha Singh welcomed her into the party by draping her with a party scarf and praised her notable contributions to alcohol prohibition and women’s empowerment in her area. During the event, Prakash Karad, Vice-President of the Small Savings Scheme, and Yashwant Chajta, Vice-President of HIMUDA, were also present.
