Ishaan Sharma and Shubham Kaushal Win Strongman Titles in Shimla

Ishaan Sharma and Shubham Kaushal, residents of Shimla, claimed the titles of Overall Champions in the Heavyweight and Lightweight categories respectively at the Strongman competition held in Haryana. Both competitors have been consistently practicing at the Astra Fitness Center in Lakkar Bazaar, Shimla, for the past two years.

Ishaan attributed his success to the rigorous training provided by his coach, Aniruddh Baidi, a former Asian champion, and emphasized the dedication and hard work required to achieve this milestone. He mentioned that he has been selected to compete at the national level competitions.

At just 19 years old, Ishaan’s achievement of winning the title of Strongest Heavyweight has brought pride to his family and Shimla. Vinay Kumar, the owner of Astra Gym, praised Ishaan and Shubham for showcasing their talent and bringing recognition to Shimla and the entire state amidst the prevailing challenges of youth inclining towards substance abuse.
