International Tiger Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Palampur Science Centre

Palampur, 29th July 2024 — The Palampur Science Centre celebrated International Tiger Day with great enthusiasm, organizing a popular science lecture and an open house quiz for students, teachers, and general visitors.

The event commenced with a popular science lecture by the project coordinator, who shared insights on pressing issues like sustainable development goals and climate change. The coordinator also provided practical suggestions for daily life and concluded the lecture with a pledge to achieve all sustainable goals.

Following the lecture, an open house quiz on “Project Cheetah: Cheetah Rehabilitation Program” was conducted. The quiz covered various aspects of Project Cheetah, other big cat projects, relevant institutions, departments, agencies, and key facts. Participants with correct answers were rewarded.

The event concluded with the Palampur Science Centre extending gratitude to all attendees and participants, marking a successful celebration of International Tiger Day.
