International e-conference by Him Science Congress Association

Him Science Congress Association (HSCA) initiated its two-day 8th International e-conference on “Progress of Science and Technology during Pandemic” on Saturday in association with Shoolini University, Solan.

Prof. Rajesh Sharma welcomed the gathering and Dr. Sita Ram Sharma gave a brief note on the two-day conference schedule. Prof. Deepak Pathania briefed about HSCA vision and goals. Prof. Sher Singh Samant threw light on Himalayan rich vegetation, its utility and conservation.

The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. C.L Chandan (Vice Chancellor, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Cluster University, Mandi), Guest of Honour Prof. Sher Singh Samant (Director, HFRI, Shimla), Prof. Prem Kumar Khosla (Chancellor Shoolini University and Chief Patron HSCA), Prof. Deepak Pathania (President HSCA and Dean Academics Affair (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Cluster University, Mandi), Prof Rajesh Sharma (Vice President HSCA and Dean Faculty of Sciences, Shoolini University), Dr. Sita Ram Sharma (Co-Patron HSCA and Associate Professor Department of Physics), Prof. Sunil Kumar (General Secretory HSCA and Associate Professor Department of Physics, HPU).

Prof Khosla motivated the participants by stating that now it is time for youth to take lead and give the level best in hard work to promote science and technology across the world. Prof. Philippe Roger (Institut de Chimie Moléculaire et des Matériaux d’Orsay Université, Paris, France) and Prof. Marinela Panayotova (Department of Chemistry, University of Mining and Geology, Sofia, Bulgaria), the keynote speakers, discussed about the silver nanoparticles – Zeolite nanocomposites for water treatment. Chief guest Prof. C.L Chandan addressed the gathering and appreciated these kinds of conferences organised by the association during COVID times and Prof. Sunil Kumar presented the vote of thanks.
