International Dussehra Festival in Kullu to Host Delegates from 18 Countries
1 min readA district-level meeting of the Dussehra Festival Committee was held in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The meeting, chaired by Sundar Thakur, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Chairman of the Dussehra Festival Committee, discussed the preparations for the Dussehra festival. It was revealed that the Chief Minister, Sukhdev Singh, had written a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs, inviting the heads of state of all countries to participate in the Dussehra festival.
Representatives from 18 countries, including cultural delegations, will be participating in the Dussehra festival. In addition, a cultural carnival featuring cultural groups from various countries will be part of the celebration, with local artists also taking part. The International Dussehra Festival will be celebrated from October 24th to October 30th.
During the meeting, it was decided that a cultural program would be organized at the Cultural Center in Kullu as part of the Dussehra celebrations, and 10% of the seats at the cultural center, with a total capacity of 500 seats, would be available for booking at a price of 500 rupees per ticket. The booking for these seats will be done online.
