Indian Air Force to Stage Spectacular Air Show at Sujanpur on March 10

Sujanpur, Jan 29, 2026: The sky over Sujanpur will soon resonate with the roar of Indian Air Force fighter aircraft as a grand civil air display is set to be organised for the first time in Himachal Pradesh. The air show will take place on March 10 at the grounds of Sainik School Sujanpur Tira, with official approval granted by the Defence Minister.
Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathod held a meeting at the mini secretariat with district officials and representatives of Sainik School to review preparations for the event. Sujanpur MLA Captain Ranjit Singh was also present and shared important suggestions for smooth execution.
Officials informed that Air Force authorities have conducted a preliminary inspection of the Chaugan ground and surrounding areas and found them suitable for the civil air display. The event has been scheduled shortly after Holi to ensure maximum public participation.
The DC said the main objective of the show is to familiarise people with the achievements of the Indian Air Force and inspire children to consider careers in the armed forces. Special efforts will be made to ensure large participation of school students.
Principal of Sainik School Sujanpur Tira, Group Captain Rachna Joshi, said that 11 fighter aircraft will participate in the air display, promising a thrilling and unforgettable experience for spectators.
