Doha, Qatar 27 May 2025: Former Union Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur, Anurag Singh Thakur, addressed the Indian diaspora in Doha during a multi-party G7 parliamentary delegation visit. He emphasized India’s firm stance against terrorism and highlighted the recent ‘Operation Sindoor’, which targeted terror camps across the border.
In his address, Thakur stated that India has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, and strong international support, especially from countries like Qatar, is a reflection of this commitment. He condemned the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir, calling it inhuman and barbaric, and accused Pakistan of harboring and protecting terrorist outfits.
Thakur also revealed that despite clear evidence, Pakistan failed to act against the terror camps for 14 days. In response, Indian forces launched precise strikes, neutralizing several terror hubs. He asserted that India will continue to expose and strike at the roots of terrorism globally.
