IEC University Organizes Two-Day ‘BBN Bike Ride’ to Celebrate Independence Day

Solan, August 15: IEC University, located at Atal Shiksha Kunj in District Solan, celebrated this year’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm by organizing a grand two-day event — the ‘BBN Bike Ride.’ The rally began from Delhi and concluded in the BBN region, with active participation from university students, staff members, and members of the Delhi Royal Enfield Riders group.
On Independence Day, the Tricolour was hoisted at the university campus, followed by a salute to the national flag. The event was graced by distinguished guests Dr. Anju Sharma, Hon’ble Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, and renowned social worker Dr. Vineet Gautam as Chief Guests. They inspired the students to work for the welfare of the state and the nation.
University students presented patriotic cultural performances, making the celebration memorable. The primary aim of the programme was to instill in the youth a deep respect for the motherland — a goal successfully achieved.
The members of the Delhi Royal Enfield Riders group were honoured for making the celebration both inspiring and unforgettable. IEC University Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Puri and Registrar Dr. Prahlad Gupta expressed their gratitude to Ignite Helmet and Steelbird Helmet, Baddi, along with all other supporters, for their contributions in making the two-day mega event a success. They also extended warm Independence Day greetings to all.
