IEC University Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Enthusiasm

Baddi, District Solan, August 15, 2024: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at IEC University, as is done every year. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a salute to the tricolor. Students presented cultural programs filled with patriotism, showcasing their love for the nation.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of IEC University unfurled the national flag and addressed the gathering. In his speech, he urged everyone to draw inspiration from the courage and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. He also highlighted India’s remarkable progress since independence and called on the youth to work towards making India a global power.

The event was organized by the university’s NSS unit, with the aim of instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride among students. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the national anthem and chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” The senior management of the university distributed sweets to everyone as a gesture of celebration and congratulation.
