“I Resigned Not for Personal Gain, But for Nalagarh’s Development “: Thakur
1 min readDuring a public outreach campaign in various panchayats of Nalagarh constituency, BJP MLA L. Thakur stated that after the Congress government came to power in the state, he supported it externally and raised issues in the assembly to fulfill promises made to the people of Nalagarh. However, the Congress government allegedly refused to fulfill the legitimate demands of their constituency. Actions such as discontinuing approved projects and shutting down health institutions and educational facilities approved during the previous BJP government were highlighted. He criticized the Congress government for neglecting development projects worth approximately 25 million rupees under various panchayats and shutting down public offices opened in Ramshah. Thakur also accused Congress leaders of encouraging the flourishing drug trade in Nalagarh and surrounding areas, adversely affecting youth by pushing them into addiction and crime.
