HRTC’s 7,000 employees to get OPS benefit

The old pension scheme has also been restored in the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC). This decision will benefit around 7,000 employees of the corporation. In this regard, instructions have been issued by HRTC Managing Director Sandeep Kumar to all divisional and regional managers. This decision is being implemented after the approval of the HRTC Board of Directors.

HRTC management has instructed the divisional and regional managers to inform the employees about the SOP issued by the government regarding pension, so that they can exercise their option to choose the old or new pension scheme. According to the decision of the government, the employees will have to give their option regarding pension within 60 days. Along with this, instructions have been given to stop the monthly NPS deduction of the employees.
