HPUTWA Delegation Submits Four-Point Demand Charter to Governor

A 12-member delegation of the Himachal Pradesh University Teachers Welfare Association (HPUTWA), led by President Dr. Nitin Vyas, met Governor and Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University. The delegation submitted a four-point demand charter, opposing the proposed legislation on contractual services, highlighting discrepancies in UGC regulations for college and university teachers, delayed DA, and halted Ph.D. increments since 2014.
The delegation also urged an increase in the annual budget allocation for the university. The Governor assured a positive response and intervention on these issues.
