HPU Restricts B.Ed Counselling to Affiliated Colleges with Fee Clearance

Shimla, July 30: Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has announced that B.Ed counselling and seat allotment for the 2025–27 academic session will be limited to only those institutions that have paid their affiliation and inspection fees. Out of 56 institutions, only 28 private colleges have cleared their dues since 2015. Students are advised to check the list of affiliated colleges on the university website before applying online. The step has been taken to ensure students’ degrees remain valid and protected from future complications. Online counselling begins from August 7 based on the verified list.
