HPSPCB Paonta Sahib convened district level meeting

HPSPCB Paonta Sahib today i.e. 08.02.2024 convened district level meeting in the matter of OA No. 360 (District Environment Plan) and various Hon’ble NGT matters of Water Quality, Air Quality and Solid Waste Management pertaining to district Sirmaur under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur at Nahan with various departments of district. Progress report on DEP-2023, and draft DEP-2024 was discussed with different stakeholder departments.
Worthy DC directed all departments authorised under HP Non biodegradable Act, 1995 to ensure strict compliance of SUP ban in the district. Further directions were given to local bodies and Rural department to ensure segregation , collection and disposal of solid waste generated in their respective area along with development of required facilities at the earliest.
Worthy DC Sirmaur directed DIC Sirmaur, BDO Nahan and JSV Nahan to take necessary action w.r.t installation of CETP cum STP in Kala Amb and submit compliance further all SHOs of district Sirmaur shall ensure compliance to noise rules.
