HPNLU Shimla Organizes “Tambola – Play for a Cause” During Foundation Week Celebrations

Youth Red Cross (YRC), Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, successfully hosted a vibrant event titled “Tambola – Play for a Cause” as part of the ongoing Foundation Week celebrations. The event, held at the university’s Moot Court Hall, saw an overwhelming participation of approximately 250 individuals, including both students and faculty members. With a cash prize pool of ₹10,700, the game featured two thrilling rounds of Tambola, which provided both entertainment and a competitive edge to the participants.
In keeping with the values of humanitarian service promoted by the Red Cross, the remaining funds generated from the event will be donated to those in need, reinforcing the university’s commitment to social responsibility. The event was not only a source of enjoyment but also a meaningful contribution to the welfare of the community, with the spirit of compassion and service taking center stage. The event was organized by Dr. Rohit Sharma, Faculty Coordinator, YRC. The initiative serves as a reminder of the university’s ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on society, fostering a culture of care and empathy among its students and faculty.
