HPNLU, Shimla Observes 5th Anniversary of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan

Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, commemorated the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) on 31st October 2025 with great enthusiasm and commitment. On this occasion, a pledge ceremony was organized on the university campus, wherein students, faculty members, and staff participated wholeheartedly and took a solemn pledge to remain drug-free and to contribute towards the creation of a society free from substance abuse.
The event reflected the university’s enduring dedication to the national vision of a “Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Drug-Free India). HPNLU, Shimla, reaffirmed its resolve to actively engage in and support various awareness and outreach initiatives that promote healthy, responsible, and drug-free living among the youth and the community at large.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU, emphasized the pivotal role of educational institutions in fostering awareness and social responsibility among young citizens. She reiterated the university’s commitment to organizing more community-centric programmes, sensitization drives, and educational campaigns under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, in alignment with national objectives.
The observance concluded with a collective expression of resolve from all participants to uphold the spirit of the Abhiyaan and to contribute meaningfully towards building a progressive, drug-free nation.
