HPNLU Ranks 85th Globally at 32nd Vis Moot in Vienna

Shimla, May 2, 2025 – Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the visionary leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, proudly announces its students’ outstanding performance at the 32nd Annual William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held in Vienna, Austria.
Competing against 385 top-tier institutions from across the globe, the HPNLU team secured an impressive 85th international rank, earning 2112 out of 2400 points. This global recognition reflects the university’s rising stature in legal academia and its emphasis on international exposure, research, and advocacy skills.
The team – Shivam Kapoor, Toshya Sidana, Utkarsh Tyagi, Morvi Sharma, Aashi, and Bani Chahal – displayed remarkable dedication and competence. Their performance in legal drafting, argumentation, and research was lauded by international judges and peers alike.
