HPNLU Law University Refutes False Claims in Amar Ujala Regarding Employee Retrenchment Relief

It has come to the attention of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, that a news article published in Amar Ujala on 12th February 2025, falsely states that “4 more employees retrenched from the University have been granted relief and would not be removed from employment”. We categorically deny this report, as no such relief has been provided by the Hon’ble High Court. The Hon’ble Court has not passed any such order, and the news is factually incorrect.
The publication of such misleading information is both misleading and harmful to the public. The University strongly condemns this act and demands a public apology from Amar Ujala for the erroneous publication.
