HPNLU Hosts Special Manupatra Training Session for Students

Shimla, August 26, 2025 – Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, organized a special training session on Manupatra, India’s premier legal research platform, to strengthen the legal research skills of students.
The session was conducted virtually by Sameeksha Vaishnava, Legal Editor & Outreach Coordinator at Manupatra, who provided an in-depth walkthrough on navigating databases, accessing case laws, statutes, and secondary resources.
Over 75 students across batches participated, with the session primarily tailored for first-year students. Senior students also benefitted from exposure to advanced tools for moot courts, internships, and academic writing. The interactive session allowed students to raise queries and engage in practical learning.
The training was coordinated by Kartik Sharma, LL.B. student and Manupatra Campus Ambassador. The event proved to be a valuable step in equipping students with essential legal research skills vital for both academic and professional growth.
