HP logs 263 new Covid cases

Dharamshala, Apr 25- Himachal Pradesh has reported 263 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, health official said here on Tuesday.
Spokesman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 263 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.
The spokesman said that today there was no Covid death reported from any district of this hill state thus the death toll has remained to 4216.
He said that the number of active cases has further come down to 1270. He said that the number of Active cases included
204 from Mandi, 84 from Shimla, 311 from Kàngra, 149 from Hamirpur, 110 from Bilaspur and 68 each from Kullu and Chamba, 73 from Solan, and 97 from Sirmour districts of this hill state.
The sources told UNI that there were 399 recoveries today in the state, thus keeping the number of the recovered patients at 315356 today.
He said that there were 4443 samples collected today for testing and results of none of the samples were awaited. .
He said that on Tuesday 6 Covid 19 patient was admitted in the hospitals in this hill state however the number of the active admissions has remained 19 and 6 Covid 19 patients were discharged after getting cured from hospitals of the state today.
