HP Govt to Send MLAs on Foreign Exposure Visits: CM Sukhu

Shimla, March 27 – Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced in the Assembly that the state government will send all MLAs on foreign exposure visits in the future. He stated that such visits help legislators develop new perspectives essential for state development.
The announcement was made during Question Hour in response to MLA Vipin Parmar’s query regarding educational tours for school students. The CM emphasized that every MLA will be linked to a project before their visit to ensure they gain relevant insights.
Earlier, Education Minister Rohit Thakur revealed that ₹1.59 crore was spent on students’ foreign educational tours, while ₹2.13 crore was allocated for teacher training in Singapore. The training, conducted by the Principal Academy of Singapore, aimed to enhance global perspectives and cultural awareness among educators.
