Honorarium of Panchayat representatives increased

Shimla, March 17
Chairman Zila Parishad will get an honorarium of Rs 20 thousand per month. The Vice-Chairman of the Zilla Parishad will get an honorarium of Rs 15,000 per month. Rs.6500 per month to Member Zila Parishad, Rs.9500 per month to President BDC, Rs.7000 per month to Vice President BDC, Rs.6000 per month to Member BDC, Rs.6000 per month to Panchayat Pradhan, Rs.4000 per month to Deputy Pradhan and Member Gram Panchayat will be provided Rs 500 per meetingA budget of Rs 1916 crore is proposed for Rural Development Panchayati Raj Department.
