Himachal to Host 17th National River Rafting Championship in Kullu

Kullu, Feb 13: Himachal Pradesh is set to host the 17th National River Rafting Championship from March 20 to 25 at the Piridi Rafting Center in Kullu. The event is being organized by The Indian Rafting Foundation, authorized by the World Rafting Federation, in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh Rafting Association.
A preparatory meeting was held in Bilaspur, chaired by state general secretary Imtiaz Khan, with Indian Rafting Foundation’s national president, Shaukat Pal Sikand, as the special guest.
The championship will feature around 18 teams from different states, competing in Rafting Sprint, Slalom, RX, and Down River Race across Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed categories.
