Himachal Pradesh registers a positivity rate of 14.1% in the last one week

The Government spokesperson informed that a total 279198 persons have been found COVID positive till now across the State. The number of active cases as on today is 4344 in the State.
The Government spokesperson informed that during last week (30-01-2022 to 06-02-2022), total 6444 positive cases with positivity rate of 14.1% were recorded in the State and during the same period. The maximum positivity rate of 22% has been reported from district Hamirpur, and minimum positivity rate of 6.7% from district Bilaspur. The district wise information of the positivity rates in the last week (30-01-2022 to 06-02-2022) is as follows:

The Government Spokesperson told that the maximum positivity rate of 20% was recorded in a week from 17-01-2022 to 23-01-2022. He appealed to the public that to reduce the transmission of COVID virus in the community, it is important to monitor yourselves for the symptoms, getting tests done in case symptoms appear and timely isolation is required.
