The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the list of successful candidates who cleared the written examination and document verification for the position of conductor under the Transport Department. The merit list includes 357 candidates, and their names have been forwarded to the state government for appointment. However, out of the 360 conductor positions advertised in the HRTC, three positions reserved for the Scheduled Caste of Himachal Pradesh (HP) could not be filled due to the unavailability of eligible candidates.
Last year, the written test for the conductor positions (Post Code-1031) was conducted on December 10, with 826 candidates passing the examination. Subsequently, the document verification process took place from February 24 to 25 and March 3, excluding February 19 to March 6. The results were announced on Saturday, March 16. According to Devendra Kumar Rattan, the Secretary of HPPSC, the names of the 357 successful candidates have been submitted to the state government for appointment. The detailed results and the list of selected candidates are available on the website.
