Himachal Pradesh organises a State Level Function of launch of “PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan”
2 min readShimla – Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi launched “Gati Shakti National Master Plan” today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi through Hybrid mode (Physical and Virtual). Coinciding with this event, a State level function presided by Sh. R. D. Dhiman, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh was organised at Udyog Bhawan, Shimla where the launch of PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan was streamed live.
Senior Officers from line departments of the State Government and officers from various infrastructure boards/Corporations of both Central as well as State Government such as Urban Development, Information Technology, Horticulture, Telecom, HPSIDC, HPMC, PWD,
Indian Railways, NHAI, Ministry of Road and Transport, Indian Oil Adani Gas Pvt Ltd,
Business Associations participated in the function. Also, the State Government was represented by Director (Industries) and Director (Transport) at the event held in Pragati Maidan New Delhi.
Hon’ble Prime Minister shared that on this pious event of Durgashtmi, the nation is gaining speed and power of making India self-reliant. He mentioned that the nation will gain next-generation success in various fields like Industry, Agriculture and service sector through PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
The major aim of Gati Shakti is to break departmental silos and institutionalize holistic planning for stakeholders across major infrastructure projects. It will also generate multiple employment opportunities, cut down logistic cost, improve supply chains and make local goods locally competitive.
Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasised that Gati Shakti National Master Plan will cut down the loopholes in the system and consolidate the infrastructure projects without inordinate delay in the approval processes.
Hon’ble Prime Minister asserted that PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan will ensure better utilization of funds for improvement of National Infrastructure and will also expedite the completion of the projects. The private players would also get a boost to invest in National infrastructure as easy clearances and monetary help would be available to them. This project would also provide last-mile connectivity to economic zones in a definite timeframe.
In his concluding remarks Hon’ble Prime Minister urged all state Governments to get connected with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
