Himachal Pradesh Government Brings Revenue Department Posts Under State Cadre

Shimla, February 8: In a significant administrative decision, the Himachal Pradesh Governor has ordered the inclusion of several District Cadre posts of the Revenue Department under the State Cadre with immediate effect. This move follows the earlier notification dated October 3, 2023.
The newly included posts under the State Cadre are:
– Driver
– All Class-III ministerial staff posts left out in the previous notification
– Peon and all other Class-IV posts
Additionally, various Division/Station Cadre offices of the Revenue Department have now been brought under the State Cadre, covering all Ministerial Cadre Class-III and Class-IV posts. These include:
– Divisional Commissioners of Shimla, Mandi, and Kangra
– Settlement Offices of Kangra and Shimla
– Director, Land Records, Shimla
– Revenue Training Institute, Jogindernagar, Mandi
– Directorate, Consolidation of Holding, Shimla (Dying Cadre)
Following this transition, the Director of Land Records, Himachal Pradesh, will continue as the “Cadre Controlling Authority” for these posts. The government is finalizing the modalities related to service matters and other administrative aspects separately.
