Himachal Kalyan Sabha, Amritsar & others donates Rs. 2.21 lakh
1 min readChief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today met the people of Nadaun assembly constituency of district Hamirpur and others from Himachal Pradesh residing in Amritsar.
The member of Himachal Kalyan Sabha Amritsar, Gaurav Sharma presented cheques amounting to Rs. 2.21 lakh to the Chief Minister on behalf of residents of Nadaun and other people from the state, living in Amritsar, towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to all the members of Himachal Kalyan Sabha for this noble gesture and expressed hope that this will inspire others to help those in distress.
He said that the customs and culture of Himachal were unique enough and the people should always follow the traditions and ethos, even if they reside in any part of the country or the world. He said that Himachali’s were well known for hospitality, simplicity and were hard working by nature.
The Members of the Sabha honoured the Chief Minister and presented a replica of the historical Durgiana Temple on the occasion.
Himachal Kalyan Sabha member Gogi Sharma and other dignitaries were also present amongst others.
