Himachal Guv to inaugurate University main gate and Inter College Sports Meet at Nauni on Apr 26

The Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla will inaugurate the new main gate of Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni on April 26. The gate has been built in hill architecture at a cost of Rs 75 lakh with funding support from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. During his visit to the university, the Governor will also inaugurate the Inter College Sports and Games Meet of the university in which the students of all the four constituent colleges of the university will take part in track and field events and different sporting events. Besides, he will also address the faculty and students of the university in the LS Negi Auditorium. During the visit, the Governor will also chair the 16th Senate meeting of the university.
