Himachal Govt Promotes 17 IAS Officers Across Various Ranks

Shimla, January 15: The Himachal Pradesh government has announced the promotion of 17 IAS officers across various levels, as per orders issued on Wednesday.

Notably, 2009 batch IAS officers Mansi Sahay Thakur, Rohan Chand Thakur, Raj Kishan Purthi, and Vinod Kumar have been promoted to the rank of secretary, receiving the Level-14 pay scale. However, Mansi Sahay Thakur, currently on central deputation, has been promoted on a proforma basis.

Additionally, 2012 batch officers, including Dr. Richa Verma, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, Harikesh Meena, and Rajesh Goyal, have been promoted to the Level-13 pay scale, effective from January 1, 2025.

Further, officers such as DC Kullu Torul S Ravish, Anurag Chandra, Amit Kumar Sharma, Jatin Lal, Gandharv Rathore, Rahul Kumar, Sonakshi Singh Tomar, Vijay Kumar, and Manoj Kumar have been promoted to the Level-12 pay scale.

These promotions reflect the government’s commitment to recognizing the contributions and administrative capabilities of its civil servants.
