Himachal Government Announces Transfer of Seven HPS Officers

Shimla, October 5, 2023: The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer of seven Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers on Thursday. A notification to this effect was issued by the state administration.

According to the notification, Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj, who was serving as the General Manager of Shimla Smart City SPV, has been posted as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Law and Order Shimla. Additionally, Jyoti Rana, who was previously handling additional responsibilities, has been relieved from her additional duties.

Vivek Chandel, the Director of Technical Education, has been appointed as the Director of Fisheries in Bilaspur. Meanwhile, Jitendra Sanjta, who was awaiting orders, will take on the role of Additional Director at Hamirpur Medical College, in addition to his responsibilities as Administrative Officer at the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission.

Akshay Sood has been transferred as the Director of Technical Education, Sundernagar. Similarly, Anupam Kumar will assume the role of Additional Director of Technical Education, Sundernagar. Shiv Mohan Singh Saini, the Deputy Secretary (Administration), and Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar, Registrar at the Technical University of Hamirpur, are awaiting their new appointments.

These transfers come as part of routine administrative reshuffling in the Himachal Pradesh state bureaucracy.
