Himachal CM Receives Major Contributions for Relief Fund

Shimla, Sept 15 – Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was presented a cheque of ₹10,60,250 by Health Minister Col. (Dr.) Dhani Ram Shandil on behalf of DC office staff and people of Solan district towards the CM Relief Fund. MLA Sanjay Awasthy and DC Solan Manmohan Sharma were present, while Gurukul International School, Kunihar also contributed ₹31,000.

On the same day, Canara Bank extended support with a cheque of ₹25 lakh for the Disaster Relief Fund. The cheque was presented by Manoj Kumar Das, Chief General Manager, Canara Bank Chandigarh Zone, accompanied by Ravikant Barman, Head RO Shimla, and Nardev Kanwar, Chairman, HP Building and Construction Worker Welfare Board.

Additionally, a deputation of Maha Panchayat from Chintpurni Assembly Constituency, Una, handed over a cheque of ₹1 lakh towards the CM Relief Fund.
