High reaches of HP receive fresh spell of snowfall

Shimla, Apr 19 – Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall on the high reaches as state witnessed heavy downpour and inclement weather conditions in last 24 hrs.
As per the information received from 94 Road Construction Coy of BRO , the Udaipur Pangi Killar Highway (SH-26) which was closed for vehicular movement last evening near Bhim Nala Thirot has now been opened for vehicular movement.
According to Met Office in Lahaul-Spiti Gondla had 6.5 cm, Kukumseri six cm, Keylong two cm. Jogindernagar(Mandi) had 46 mm, Manali 36 cm, Kotkhai (Shimla) and Bhunter(Kullu) 35.2 mm and Chamba: 33 mm, Shimla 31.7 mm, Kufri & Palampur 27 mm, Dalhousie and Mandi 20 mm and Dharmshala 15.4 mm.
Minimum temperature of Keylong plummet to minus 0.1 degrees Tourist resort Narkanda 4.4 degrees, Manali six degrees, Kalpa 5.4. Dalhousie 7.9 degrees, Shimla 8.8 Bhuntar airport 11.3, Dharamshala 11.4, Una 16.7, Nahan 18.9, Solan 13, Kangra 15.8, Mandi 15, Bilaspur & Hamirpur 17, Chamba 14.2 and Airport Jubberhatti 11.7.
